Escapades

Stellenbosch in South Africa is one of the world´s most renowned wine regions. Its Mediterranean

climate, coupled with a fertile soil, provide the perfect conditions to produce world-class wines.

Lured by this fascinating terroir, Evangelos Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis, two award-winning

winemakers, teamed up with the well-known vintner, connoisseur and marketer Takis Soldatos to

create new and stimulating wines. The three friends christened their venture "Escapades".

The name was inspired by their dream and endeavours of creating modern versions of

traditional wines on an ancient continent.
